Lago d'Orta - Mottarone - B&B Rusall's Cottage

Besides going for a walk trough the paths of the Mottarone or along Orta Lake, it is possible to make other sports activities. From B&B Rusalls (5 minutes) you can find the Circolo Velico Orta where training courses for children and adults are held. On the other hand in Omegna, at the Canottieri città di Omegna, it is possible to attend canoe and kayak courses. Always in Omegna (Bagnella)near the Canttieri’s headquarters, there is the Lido, where you can go for a swim and in the meantime hire lawn chairs and beach umbrellas of course.

For Golf lovers, a few miles from Armeno, (Gignese Località Alpino) it is possible to join the Golf Club, with a nine holed field, which has been visited since 1924.

In Ameno, two miles from Armeno, it is open the riding school Monte Oro country club, which offers riding courses and the opportunity to go for a ride.

In Winter it is possible obviously to ski on the Mottarone’s ski tracks.
In Summer, instead, it is possible to go trekking or to go by bike. The bravest Ones can do paragliding from the several peaks of Mottarone, place fro several international competitions.

Going to Mottarone it is possible to find a large valley with a suggestive view, usually destinated to plane modelling lovers. Don’t forget the motocross circuit in Armeno, great occasion to train yourself or to get moto lessons.
